The CA3 group is composed of a research and development team and a group of qualified scientific advisors directly involved in R&D projects where CA3 is a partner.

We also have a variable number of visiting scientists and collaborators working with us. The former member section has previous group members.

Helena Pereira - Research Engineer
Short Bio
Helena is a researcher at CA3 - Computational Intelligence Research Group of UNINOVA. She has a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Currently, Helena pursues the work developed in her master's thesis which were classification of medical images from Parkinson's Disease with artificial intelligence algorithms.

She focuses in find imaging biomarkers to study brain diseases progression through those algorithms and image processing techniques.
