Research Interests
My research
interests are focused on the field of solar physics, specially
on the study of:
- Cycles of the solar activity in the photosphere, chromosphere
and the corona;North-South asymmetry of the solar activity
- Space weather: Solar wind - Earth's magnetosphere coupling;
CMEs;Forbush Decreases and Ground level Enhancements of the cosmic
radiation.
- High-resolution study of features and MHD waves in the solar
photosphere
- Total solar eclipses
- Differential rotation of the solar corona (tracking of solar

Since 1 October 2003 till 30 September 2006 I was at postdoctoral
fellowship in the:

- UNINOVA-CRI/CA3 - Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias, Caparica, Portugal
Since 2006 I continue collaboration with OAUC and UNINOVA-CRI/CA3.
In 2008 I started collaboration also with IICT in Lisbon.
In August 2009 started my second post-doctoral stay in Portugal
in the: UNINOVA-CA3 - Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias,
Caparica and IICT, Lisbon. I also continue collaboration with OAUC
Coimbra as a member of CGUC Coimbra.
