Research and Development Team

The CA3 group is composed of a research and development team and a group of qualified scientific advisors directly involved in R&D projects where CA3 is a partner.

We also have a variable number of visiting scientists and collaborators working with us. The former member section has previous group members.

Leonardo Martins - Research and Development Team

Research Interests

Leonardo is a researcher at CA3 – Computational Intelligence Research Group of UNINOVA, where he participates in a research project, along with the Tampere University of Technology, to study the kinetics of aggregates in cell division and its correlation to functional aging from in vivo measurements, one event at a time.

His main focus for this research is the development of artificial images that can be used to test the methods of image segmentation and tracking of cells and aggregates in time from temporal images.
