E-CEO - E-Collaboration for Earth Observation
Project Summary

The E-CEO project aims to deliver a collaborative platform that through data challenge contests will improve the adoption and outreach of new applications and methods to processes EO data. This platform must seamlessly join different scientific approaches and methodologies for information extraction or technological methods for computation in an open and competitive infrastructure.

The backbone must be a common environment where the applications can be developed, deployed and executed. The results need to be easily published in a common visualization platform for their effective validation and evaluation.

The foreseen contest execution flow is:

UNINOVA is responsible for defining and developing the evaluation model for rating and ranking the participants' work.
